The Heat Have A Meltdown Against The 76ers

The “surging” 76ers beat the Heat at home, and for the first time this season boast a two game winning streak.  Midway through the 3rd quarter, Miami had a meltdown, squandering a 23-point lead to the worst team in the league, missing four 3 pointers in the final minute that could have given them the game.

Coming off of a big win against the Magic in Orlando, maybe the remedy for Philadelphia’s poor performance is to play the remainder of their schedule in the state of Florida.  You never know what a steady diet of early bird dinners could do to improve your player’s offense and defense.

With Philadelphia posting back-to-back wins, this may give newly traded Net, Andrei Kirilenko the incentive to join his new team; take the bait until the trade deadline in February, and give a boost to a team that’s rebuilding.  Or he could just quit the NBA altogether, grow his hair back, and play Illya Kuryakin in a remake of, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
